Ben Fanning:I'm Ben Fannink and my co host is Zach Schultz.
Ben Fanning:It's time to get Americana curious.
Zach Schultz:Hey there and welcome back to Americana Curious.
Zach Schultz: our defining music moments of: Zach Schultz:You won't hear these anywhere else except for here on Americana Curious and what's in it for you as you might learn a new song to check out, a new album to check out, or someone you need to go see on the road.
Zach Schultz:And this is all speaking from Zach and mine's personal experience.
Zach Schultz:And just a disclaimer.
Zach Schultz:Just because we pick these out as our defining moments doesn't mean everyone else is not good.
Zach Schultz:We have got way more great music than we can possibly share, but we're trying to narrow it down to give you some nuggets to go check out.
Zach Schultz:Zach Blade on us.
Zach Schultz:What you got?
Speaker C:All right, the first thing I'm going to say is probably my favorite performance show of the year.
Zach Schultz:Okay.
Speaker C:And this one was tough to come up with because I saw a lot of shows.
Speaker C:I have a lot of honorable mentions.
Speaker C:Ben.
Zach Schultz:Yeah, I bet.
Speaker C:I'm gonna say Briscoe at Newport Folk, because, I mean, I love that album west of it all, especially the song the.
Speaker C:Well, yes, it came out in 23, but I saw them in 24, so I'm putting that on my list.
Zach Schultz:Yes, you did.
Speaker C:But the energy at that show, I was looking forward to that show all weekend long.
Speaker C:And it was Sunday at, I don't know, sometime in the afternoon, so I had to wait through two days of Newport to get to that show.
Speaker C:But it did not disappoint.
Zach Schultz:I was there at that show and I can attest to that.
Zach Schultz:That was special.
Zach Schultz:And whatever that Lumineers dude sang, the three of their voices melded together and then Bonnie Ray came out.
Zach Schultz:Just kidding.
Zach Schultz:She did not come out.
Zach Schultz:Yeah, that was special.
Zach Schultz:And y'all a great Texas band.
Zach Schultz:Check them out.
Zach Schultz:They are definitely a rising star for me.
Zach Schultz:I would say in.
Zach Schultz:In a similar world, and this might be less of a surprise, but it's Sierra Farrell's album trail of Flowers.
Zach Schultz:It's a beautiful album and it was one of my favorites when it came out and now it's been nominated for a Grammy.
Zach Schultz:We saw her and I saw her at Newport, and she had this.
Zach Schultz:She wears all the coolest, wildest clothes.
Zach Schultz:She almost always does a couple of wardrobe changes.
Zach Schultz:We saw her in Charleston and she brings that music alive on stage.
Zach Schultz:Check out american dreaming.
Zach Schultz:I could drive you crazy.
Zach Schultz:Those are just a few of those.
Zach Schultz:And also, people would be surprised to hear how many duets she does.
Zach Schultz:Our very first episode on the show is with Mason Vai and his second or third most downloaded tune on there happens to be with Sierra Pharrell.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:And their voices go together great.
Zach Schultz:And she's got a new another one out with Colony House, and it's just a really incredible.
Zach Schultz:And I love it when an artist goes above and beyond in their show and they bring it beautifully.
Zach Schultz:And they also have a great album to pair it with.
Speaker C:That.
Speaker C:That album is also on my top.
Speaker C:In my top two of the year.
Speaker C:But I love her Americana vibe.
Speaker C:Like the old time clothes she wears, the.
Speaker C:The broken down instruments.
Speaker C:Her and her band seem to kind of play where their band is on point.
Zach Schultz:You're not going to see many backup bands like that that are just so sharp.
Speaker C:Yeah, no, it's.
Speaker C:It's incredible album.
Speaker C:She's incredible talent.
Speaker C:And we saw her many years ago.
Speaker C:AIt's at the beach and Dominican, and she's come so far.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Speaker C:But anyway.
Zach Schultz:Yes.
Zach Schultz:Yes.
Speaker C:All right.
Speaker C:I'm going to go with my favorite song of the year, which I don't know a lot about this artist before this album came out, even though he's released a ton of stuff.
Speaker C:Phosphorescent is the name of the artist.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Speaker C:And Revelator is one of the most moving songs I've ever heard.
Speaker C:And I can't stop listening to it or the album.
Speaker C:And now I've gone back and listened to everything.
Speaker C:He's more along the indie line of the Americana tant if we call it that.
Speaker C:But Revelator by Phosphorescent is just an incredible, incredible album.
Speaker C:Song favorite.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:And it's bold to name your band.
Zach Schultz:Is that like a.
Zach Schultz:Is that a natural element?
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:I believe.
Speaker C:All right.
Zach Schultz:Chemistry majors out there.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:Incredible artist.
Zach Schultz:I love you picking that song out.
Zach Schultz:I think that'll be a surprise for a lot of our listeners.
Zach Schultz:For me, one other one.
Zach Schultz:Another one of the defining moments is a band called Sammy ray and the friends out of Brooklyn.
Zach Schultz:And it's a big band.
Zach Schultz:Sami Ray leads it.
Zach Schultz:She is very talented as it has a jazz background and her album this year with her group is something for everybody.
Zach Schultz:She's got several albums out there.
Zach Schultz:They're outstanding.
Zach Schultz:But I'll tell you what, seeing her live, I went with my wife, my daughter, some of our friends, they put on a live energy show.
Zach Schultz:The band has got two saxophones.
Zach Schultz:They've got a keyboard player that also plays the.
Zach Schultz:The keytar which is like the guitar that has the, you know, on the keys on it blast from the path like 80s style and high energy fun and some great positive messages there.
Zach Schultz:And it's one of those shows where you see people of all ages at it and highly recommend listening to the album but also checking out some of your random friends.
Speaker C:Awesome.
Zach Schultz:What you got?
Speaker C:Well, I'm gonna say another one of my top favorite shows of the year from one Willie Carlile on the Critterland at the Turf Club with hand painted a scenery that he brought in and sets up behind with his bandmate Sophie Wellington, I believe has a tap square where she would play fiddle and tap and they would.
Speaker C:And you've seen Willie, he puts on the most incredible religious experience of a show.
Speaker C:And we brought a list as my wife, her best friend who's not really into any sort of music really, but she was.
Speaker C:We said you need to go see this show with us.
Speaker C:And we brought her the shout out to Christie.
Speaker C:And Christie had the time of her life hanging out with a couple of music nerds and she.
Speaker C:I mean she brought a shirt, she bought a post.
Speaker C:I mean she was enthralled with Willie.
Speaker C:And Willie just puts on this.
Speaker C:I don't know how to describe his shows but every one of them just gets better than the other.
Speaker C:So I'm going to say please go see Willie.
Speaker C:Listen to his music and go see Willie Carlisle.
Zach Schultz:Love Willie.
Zach Schultz:Yeah, we saw him was a year.
Zach Schultz:It was two Newports ago.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:Where he opened up at Newport one of the days.
Zach Schultz:And I mean he really got people just.
Zach Schultz:He just captivated people immediately and was talking the festival pretty much the whole time.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:The scenery of these hand painted poster or not posters.
Speaker C:They were like wood planks.
Speaker C:I I kept wondering where did he haul these in from?
Speaker C:Because he's hauling them all over.
Speaker C:They were huge.
Speaker C:But it was so it told the story before he could come out of Critterland.
Zach Schultz:You know we'll check out Critterland album.
Zach Schultz:You will not be disappointed with that.
Zach Schultz:One other one for us was the were the Nelsons and not The Nelson brothers, Willie Nelson and Lucas Nelson, separately on tour.
Zach Schultz:And we saw Lucas Nelson.
Zach Schultz:Yeah, separately.
Zach Schultz:And he was so incredible.
Zach Schultz:I mean, the guy's energy on the stage, he's jumping around.
Zach Schultz:His voice is so pure.
Zach Schultz:When you hear it, it just cuts through everything.
Zach Schultz:It's just a beautiful sound.
Zach Schultz:And then we took our daughter to see old Willie, and you might think, Willie Nelson, y'all, at 91.
Zach Schultz:Like, what is he doing on the stage, y'all?
Zach Schultz:He sounds great.
Zach Schultz:He sounds great.
Zach Schultz:Now, he does only play for an hour.
Zach Schultz:He does not go a minute over 90 hours.
Zach Schultz:And he.
Zach Schultz:But he's still playing his guitar.
Zach Schultz:He sounds great.
Zach Schultz:And my daughter made a comment.
Zach Schultz:She said, dad, I don't think I've ever seen as many people breaking the law at one time as I have in a Willie Nelson concert.
Zach Schultz:There might have been a few clouds of something floating for people.
Speaker C:Archer got a little education that night.
Zach Schultz:It was.
Zach Schultz:It was like, yeah, yep, they are clearly breaking the law.
Zach Schultz:But, y'all, she was impressed.
Zach Schultz:And I just throw that out there to you.
Zach Schultz:He actually, he's.
Zach Schultz:He is still prolific with his albums.
Zach Schultz:We.
Zach Schultz:The album that I was going to just mention was his bluegrass album.
Zach Schultz: It technically came out in: Zach Schultz:Still is Still Moving to Me.
Zach Schultz:It's almost just like Wise Willie mantras coming out.
Zach Schultz:And he's really.
Zach Schultz:He's got so many wise words to share beyond the on the Road and get song, which I love.
Zach Schultz:But, yeah, there's just a lot, lot going on there.
Zach Schultz:You might want to give Lucas Nelson and Will you get a listen?
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:That's awesome.
Speaker C:She enjoyed the experience very much.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:It's incredible.
Zach Schultz:It's just incredible to see him.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Oh, yeah.
Speaker C:I've seen him a couple times, and it is something amazing that kind of overwhelms everybody because of his age.
Speaker C:I mean, to play for an hour at 91 is.
Speaker C:I mean, I go to bed at 10.
Speaker C:You know, I'm checked out for the day.
Speaker C:But anyway.
Speaker C:All right.
Speaker C:I'm not going to give my favorite musical thing of the year yet quite yet, Ben.
Zach Schultz:Okay.
Speaker C:But I do want to mention we've had him on the pod.
Speaker C:How moving.
Speaker C:That album by Joe Stam is Memoirs.
Zach Schultz:Yeah, that was on Monte.
Speaker C:It's quite amazing.
Speaker C:I mean, we've had a lot of really great people on this with incredible albums this year on this podcast.
Zach Schultz:Yes.
Speaker C:Joe's, for some reason, just stands just a Middle second ahead of a few of the other ones.
Speaker C:You know this.
Speaker C:I just love the rawness of it, you know, and it was as he explained, he just kind of hit play sitting on a chair with these incredible stories that you don't understand how they come out of somebody.
Speaker C:You know, where does this.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker C:And I'll just include all.
Speaker C:She wrote one of my favorite songs of the year on there.
Speaker C:So the Joe Stam memoirs album.
Speaker C:One of my tops, but not my top.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:A plus plus.
Zach Schultz:And thank you to you, Zach, because I don't know if I would have run across Joe's time if you hadn't texted me, y'all.
Zach Schultz:Zach texted me.
Zach Schultz:When Zach text me music, as I mentioned, I always listen to it and we got Joe on here and I mean it's even better than the music.
Zach Schultz:You know, hearing that interview and hearing the stories behind it and you realize that he's just a heck of a songwriter.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker C:And a such a down to earth person.
Speaker C:1 one of the parts of the interview that strikes me is his love for he man.
Speaker C:Figures.
Speaker C:I mean that was a real highlight.
Speaker C:A real highlight.
Zach Schultz:That was unexpected.
Zach Schultz:A robust he man collection and a lot of good chat on that.
Zach Schultz:And we do talk about the power of Grayskull and all that in there.
Zach Schultz:So if you're into HE man, you're gonna have a.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:Now the next one for me is one that might be in the.
Zach Schultz:Some might consider.
Zach Schultz:Probably do consider in the jam bag category.
Zach Schultz:And we don't often go jam, but it is a recent experience that was.
Zach Schultz:I went to Goosemas with a friend and Zach knows about this and so I didn't really expect it.
Zach Schultz:So Goose is a band, if you're not familiar with that.
Zach Schultz:They like a jam bam.
Zach Schultz:Like younger group.
Zach Schultz:They're probably late 20s, early 30s, much younger than the Fish, you know, posse and all that business.
Zach Schultz:It's different.
Zach Schultz:And that every year they do a Goosemas, which is at Christmas time, did it for two days and they have a big bingo wheel on the stage of.
Zach Schultz:Of the concert and they.
Zach Schultz:And they have a B.
Zach Schultz:Bingo ball comes out.
Zach Schultz:They have all their.
Zach Schultz:Their entire, probably 70 or 80 song catalog in that bingo wheel.
Zach Schultz:And over two nights, whatever song comes out of that bingo wheel, they play it.
Zach Schultz:And then everybody in the crowd has electronic bingo cards they've been assigned.
Zach Schultz:Every time they play a song get marked off on the bingo and you get a certain design.
Zach Schultz:You want a trip to their festival or you grew up win merch or something like that.
Zach Schultz:And I, I didn't know what to expect.
Zach Schultz: pm to: Zach Schultz:And it's like a sonic.
Zach Schultz:Just tidal wave that hits you and they sold out.
Zach Schultz:It was in a sold out huge coliseum.
Zach Schultz:And even though it ended past midnight, I don't think a soul left.
Zach Schultz:And it's, it's really special, you might say.
Zach Schultz:Well, Ben, I don't listen to jam bad music.
Zach Schultz:Well, go listen to the Drip Field album Now, it did not come out this year, Zach.
Zach Schultz:Was it two years ago it came?
Speaker C:I think so.
Speaker C:I think it was before we saw them at Newport a couple years ago.
Zach Schultz:Okay.
Zach Schultz:It might, might have been on the tour for the Drip filled album.
Zach Schultz:But anyway, take a listen to it.
Zach Schultz:Give Jam Ben a chance.
Zach Schultz:And, and, and if you get a chance to see Goose live, I'd really recommend.
Speaker C:Well, that's what I would say.
Speaker C:More further is if you have a preconceived notion that you don't want to hear a jam band go on on an album, go see the show because that can change your opinion on a jam band, you know.
Zach Schultz:Yes.
Zach Schultz:You see the people.
Zach Schultz:It's like a communal experience and there's a lot going on there.
Zach Schultz:And you see what.
Zach Schultz:And I'll zip it after this.
Zach Schultz:But the thing that I think I appreciate so much more live is the jam bands functional.
Zach Schultz:Like the bebop era jazz musicians.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:Where they lay down a line and you see them improvise and layer on, on top of it.
Zach Schultz:And you see some really Goose, they are at their, they're at their musical prime right now and they're creating a unique sound and a unique song.
Zach Schultz:They'll take a song and take in a completely different direction.
Zach Schultz:And if you look at it from that standpoint, you, you realize how special it is.
Speaker C:And I was going to say you don't even know how many celebrities were at that show on Sunday because a lot of people that I Instagram, we're posting pictures about being at Goose Miss all weekend in Charleston, which is cool.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:And, and it's not a tour Goose Miss, like they pick a city out.
Zach Schultz:It could be anywhere.
Zach Schultz:Happen to be Charleston this year.
Speaker C:And there people travel like they're, you know, new.
Speaker C:They're psy.
Speaker C:I call them psycho fans because I'm a psycho fan of a few bands.
Speaker C:But, you know, you travel around and that's a destination.
Speaker C:That's awesome.
Zach Schultz:Well, and there's something unexpected about the balls Coming out of the little big bingo wheel.
Speaker C:And.
Zach Schultz:And the set list are so cool.
Zach Schultz:Like, the band doesn't know.
Zach Schultz:It's like, okay, well, you haven't played that in a while.
Zach Schultz:Well, who cares?
Zach Schultz:We're going.
Speaker C:I would love to see a show that way.
Speaker C:I've never even heard of that, but that's awesome.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:Yeah, it.
Zach Schultz:It was really neat.
Zach Schultz:All right.
Speaker C:Z shows their talent so much that they can just come up with any name you know, comes out of the bingo ball.
Speaker C:But.
Speaker C:All right, I'm gonna do my last of my.
Speaker C:A little roundup of a couple songs that just.
Speaker C:That I love.
Speaker C:Cherokee Purples, BJ Barham, American Aquarium.
Zach Schultz:American Aquarium.
Zach Schultz:Yep.
Speaker C:I'm gonna say Bob Sumner's Bridges.
Speaker C:Just an incredible album.
Speaker C:Head Down, Feet moving by any.
Speaker C:BJ's album is tremendous.
Speaker C:Sturgill's album, great.
Speaker C:But let's see.
Zach Schultz:What's the name that Johnny.
Zach Schultz:Blue Skies.
Zach Schultz:What's the name of the album?
Zach Schultz:Is it.
Zach Schultz:Is it Johnny?
Speaker C:I can't pronounce it.
Speaker C:It's French.
Zach Schultz:Okay.
Zach Schultz:All right, y'all.
Zach Schultz:Check that album out.
Zach Schultz:That is.
Zach Schultz:Yes, that is Americana, but different at the same time.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Speaker C:Joe Pug keeps putting out amazing albums.
Speaker C:Brothers Brother John is just an incredible song.
Speaker C:And, I mean, I probably listened to it 50,000 times this year.
Speaker C:And one of my favorite songs of the year, Sadness as a Gift by Adrian Lenker.
Speaker C:It's such a moving, moving song.
Speaker C:But that's my song list.
Speaker C:I got one more for you, Ben, but you go ahead.
Zach Schultz:Well, that.
Zach Schultz:That song.
Zach Schultz:Speaking of Adrian Lanker, I just.
Zach Schultz:And you probably heard a million times, but is it Vampire Empire?
Speaker C:Vampire Weekend?
Zach Schultz:No, the Adrian Linker.
Speaker C:Oh, I don't know.
Zach Schultz:Tune.
Zach Schultz:Vampire something.
Zach Schultz:I don't know that one or the other day.
Zach Schultz:Anyway.
Zach Schultz:Okay, sorry, people.
Zach Schultz:I will.
Zach Schultz:I'll have to come back to that song.
Zach Schultz:I really heard it the other day.
Zach Schultz:I was like, man, who is that person?
Zach Schultz:Yeah, it was Adrian.
Zach Schultz:Like, her.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:And I mean, a deem.
Speaker C:The artist is just putting out amazing stuff.
Zach Schultz:Do not sleep on that album, y'all.
Speaker C:No anniversary.
Speaker C:That's incredible.
Zach Schultz:I've got that all the time.
Zach Schultz:Why haven't y'all had.
Zach Schultz:Why haven't you had.
Speaker C:Well, we're trying.
Zach Schultz:That's what I'll say.
Zach Schultz:I'm like, man, we.
Zach Schultz:We want to.
Zach Schultz:We're.
Speaker C:It's not for lack of trying.
Speaker C:That's what I'll tell you.
Speaker C:My fingers are hurting from emailing them so much.
Zach Schultz:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:So let's.
Zach Schultz:Let's make that happen.
Zach Schultz:It is Vampire Empire.
Zach Schultz:By the way.
Zach Schultz:But Adrian Lang.
Zach Schultz:Okay.
Zach Schultz:It's on the same album that you're talking about.
Zach Schultz:Well, that's a cool song.
Speaker C:I didn't spend a lot of time with the album.
Speaker C:That song just blew me away.
Speaker C:And I mean, well, yeah, I've never really.
Speaker C:That.
Speaker C:I've never really been that much into Adrian's me.
Speaker C:I don't know a lot about her, but that song just grabbed me.
Zach Schultz:Yeah, it's.
Zach Schultz:It's a goodie.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:And one other honorable mention or this is one of my top ones.
Zach Schultz:Is really getting to know Oliver Hazard a lot better in their story.
Zach Schultz:We saw we.
Zach Schultz:They came on the show.
Zach Schultz:Check out their interview.
Zach Schultz:And really, really strong.
Zach Schultz:And their harmonies are so tight.
Zach Schultz:And it was so cool to see them at Newport and you get to see them live.
Zach Schultz:They really are able to create a special sound live that you're not going to be able to hear from a lot of bands because their music is so.
Zach Schultz:It's easy to maybe miss the intricacies that are going down.
Zach Schultz:But they're three part harmonies.
Zach Schultz:The.
Zach Schultz:They're all the instruments they play and how loud and powerful it is.
Zach Schultz:Highly recommended.
Zach Schultz:They just released Raindrop River.
Speaker C:Great song.
Zach Schultz:Blood Moon.
Zach Schultz:You know, a lot of these songs have been out this year.
Zach Schultz:Now the full album's out and it's just a delight.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:Three to listen to this.
Zach Schultz:And I want to mention also a BJ Bar too that as I mentioned with American Aquarium, the Fear of Standing still, such a great, great album.
Zach Schultz:I'm glad you mentioned Cherokee Purples.
Zach Schultz:We didn't mention Messi as a magnolia.
Zach Schultz:There's Crier.
Zach Schultz:There's a lot of other songs on there.
Zach Schultz:But there.
Zach Schultz:There's not.
Zach Schultz:There's not a sleeper.
Zach Schultz:There's not a weak one on the darn album.
Zach Schultz:Which is typical of American Aqu not to have one.
Speaker C:Right.
Zach Schultz:But it's just so cool that there's just such a high quality album.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:Got from a band that's has so many albums.
Zach Schultz:And y'all, there's.
Zach Schultz:It is hard to beat BJ Barum live anywhere.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:He definitely makes my.
Speaker C:One of my favorites of the year.
Speaker C:I'll mention another.
Speaker C:My favorite album.
Zach Schultz:Take Us out.
Zach Schultz:Take us out with their favorite.
Speaker C:Listen to my favorite album of the year.
Speaker C:And it's going to be a little shocking because it's a little bit more of a popular artist than I normally listen to.
Speaker C:I mean popular.
Speaker C:He's.
Speaker C:I mean he's got a big following.
Speaker C:But Nathaniel Ray lives and in the Night Sweats south of here it's their.
Speaker C:It's perfection from start to finish songs like Remember I was a dancer, David and Goliath.
Speaker C:Oh it's just center of me.
Speaker C:It's incredible.
Speaker C:It popped up in my Spotify as my most listened album and I.
Speaker C:I couldn't complain.
Speaker C:I was like that.
Speaker C:Yeah I listened to it over and over and over and there's something about.
Speaker C:I've yet to see him live and there's been.
Speaker C:I gave away tickets once to his show because we had a family conflict so I last minute had to kids it was either support dance.
Speaker C:Well I was told to support dance.
Zach Schultz:I should say that the right decision.
Speaker C:Yes.
Zach Schultz:Daniel Ro.
Speaker C:It's an incredible album.
Speaker C:That dude just keeps coming.
Speaker C:It's amazing what he's doing but that would be my favorite of the year for album wise.
Zach Schultz:So Nathaniel A deem phosphorescent.
Speaker C:Yes.
Zach Schultz:Time to come on americana curious.
Speaker C:Yes.
Zach Schultz:2025.
Speaker C:Yes.
Zach Schultz:You happen to be related to one of them or.
Zach Schultz:Oh no.
Zach Schultz:So we need to wrap this up because we gotta.
Zach Schultz:We're going to a big interview that.
Zach Schultz:That we're going to share with you soon but can't wait.
Zach Schultz: is your hope for the show for: Speaker C:Oh, great question.
Speaker C:I mean we're.
Speaker C:We're clicking on all cylinders in my opinion right now and I just want to keep growing and keep doing it and keep.
Speaker C:I love that we are speaking with so many different versions of Americana artists.
Speaker C:Some that you know, people know, some that you don't know.
Speaker C:You know, it's just the wide range of the Americana tent.
Speaker C:As a previous guest just told us today is what I love the way she described it.
Speaker C:But just keep going and keep having great conversations and getting to know these people.
Zach Schultz:I really like that.
Zach Schultz:And that's what we talked about early on, before we even started the show was hey, we want to help these artists that are unknown become known.
Zach Schultz:And I think we're.
Zach Schultz:We're accomplishing that.
Zach Schultz: My hope with: Zach Schultz:That we've been been recently having.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Zach Schultz:And about.
Zach Schultz:About to have and help them be known in a different way than maybe they have in the past.
Zach Schultz:Share some more personal stories in an entertaining way.
Zach Schultz:Share stuff that's really unique and inspiring and help this community grow.
Zach Schultz:Help it grow.
Zach Schultz:We're.
Zach Schultz:We're going to grow our show with the community and really we.
Zach Schultz:We want to be leaders.
Zach Schultz:We want to be leaders in that.
Zach Schultz: And my Hope is that: Zach Schultz:And I'm hoping that all these listeners.
Zach Schultz:I hope that you're with me, and I hope you'll text our show to your friends and family right now and tell them to subscribe to get on board with this.
Zach Schultz:This is going to be way fun for you to talk about all your holiday meals.
Zach Schultz:Better than football or religion or politics.
Zach Schultz:You can talk about Americana Curious.
Speaker C:What a year it's been.
Ben Fanning:Thanks for joining Zach and I for this episode of Americana Curious.
Zach Schultz:Curious.
